An official groundbreaking was held Wednesday afternoon for Cardinal Stadium at Greenwich High School to celebrate new renovations.

Upgrades include grandstands, team rooms, bathrooms and entrance kiosk.

School officials say they are excited to have a complex that matches the school's athletic talent.

Officials say they expect construction to be done by fall.
