Animal lovers and their pets got into the Halloween spirit in Fairfield Sunday.
Dozens of dogs took part in the Halloween Dog Parade at the Old Town Hall Green.
The event was held by the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce. Chamber officials say it's a chance for people to bring out their pets and show off their pooches' costumes.
The parade was part of the "Halloween on the Green" festivities. Chamber officials say it's the first year for it, but they're hoping it becomes an annual tradition.
