The high heat and humidity will be coming to an end tonight but it will be replaced with some strong thunderstorms and then the possibility of flooding.
A flood watch has been issued for the entire viewing area from Thursday afternoon through Friday afternoon.
Several inches of rain may fall and if they go over the same areas over and over, they can create flooding.
Temperatures will drop starting Thursday, and they will be very cool on Friday.
Temperatures will recover with sunshine and dry weather for the weekend.
