Rain showers are expected to continue in the Connecticut area into Saturday morning.

The rain will be heavy at times, causing localized flooding on some of our local streets and in the usual low spots where water usually collects.

It also will be a chilly rain with overnight lows well down in the 40s.

The rain is expected to end around 7 a.m. Saturday. The rest of the day will be dry with mostly sunny skies. It will be breezy, especially the first half of the day.

Highs are expected to be in the upper 50s to near 60 degrees.
