Henkel Consumer Brands broke ground Monday on the company's new Center of Research and Development in Trumbull.

Henkel is known for manufacturing products like Dial soap and Snuggle fabric softener.

The company says the state-of-the-art campus is designed to accelerate collaboration, creativity and innovation.

The center will feature a cafeteria, EV charging, outdoor workspaces and modern collaboration zones. It’s set to open at the end of 2027. 

Henkel also operates its North America headquarters in Rocky Hill. Its Consumer Brands regional office is in Stamford.
