U.S. Rep. Jim Himes and state Rep. John Shaban met Monday night in a Fourth District congressional debate.
They answered questions on foreign policy at the debate, which was held at the UConn campus in Stamford.
Several hundred people filled the GenRe Auditorium for the debate, hosted by the World Affairs Forum, a nonprofit dedicated to international affairs.
Those in attendance heard the candidates share their stances on topics from the Iran nuclear deal to opening trade with Cuba.
The debate was the second for both candidates. The two had appeared in Wilton Sunday night.
