A famous actor and an NBA superstar are getting into the real estate investment game by wooing other investors into downtown Bridgeport.NBA star Magic Johnson, formerly of the L.A. Lakers, and actor and Bridgeport native John Ratzenberger, who played Cliff on the TV show Cheers, showed up at the Remington Shaver building to view the vacant site. Ratzenberger says he sees a big difference in Bridgeport every time he comes home. He credits Mayor John Fabrizi for being a tireless city advocate.Fabrizi says he?s excited by the possible partnership and called Magic Johnson to thank him for his efforts.
