Four people from New Jersey were charged with operating a series of illegal massage parlors in New York and New Jersey, including one in New Rochelle, according to the Homeland Security Department.
Law enforcement surrounded New Soothing Day Spa in the 200 block of North Avenue on Thursday where an "unlawful structure notice" was placed on the front door.
Investigators said the defendants owned the parlors since 2017 and knowingly offered sexual services for money.
The four defendants appeared in federal court in New Jersey and were released.
