As number of coronavirus cases continue to rise and vaccine supplies beginning to dwindle, January is on track to become the deadliest month of the pandemic so far.

A new report from the Kaiser Family Foundation shows that six in 10 older American citizens don’t know where or when thy can get a vaccine against the coronavirus.

Many who do get appointments have experience hours-long waits either standing in line or waiting in their cars.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says around 1.6 million vaccines were given in 24 hours, the biggest one-day increase so far. The new is welcome for the new Biden administration, which has promised a million vaccines every day for 100 days.

“We’re just going to go for it as much as you possibly can,” says Director of the National Institute of Allery and Infectious Disease Dr. Anthony Fauci “When you set a goal, if you do better than the goal, that’s terrific. I hope we do.”

Fauci says that he believes somewhere between 70% and 85% of American adults will be vaccinated by the end of the summer.
