WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- A monumental amount of rain fell in Western Connecticut on Sunday. There were numerous stranded vehicles, water rescues, and various land and mud slides were reported. This flooding was catastrophic for some areas.
- Flooding concerns will continue into Monday.
FORECAST
OVERNIGHT: Another shower and storm round is possible. After that, a little more calm with temperatures in the 60s and 70s.
MONDAY: Clouds and sun with a shower and storm chance mainly for the late afternoon and evening. Highs in the low-80s. Lows in the mid-60s.
TUESDAY: Another chance of rain. Highs in the upper-70s. Lows in the low-60s.
WEDNESDAY: Sunshine with some clouds. Highs in the mid-70s. Lows in the upper-50s.
THURSDAY: Sun and clouds. Highs in the upper-70s. Lows in the low-60s.
