Hundreds paid their respects at a funeral in Bridgeport Saturday for a 32-year-old man who died in a hail of gunfire on the city's East End.
Services were held at Holy Tabernacle Church on North Avenue for DaeDae Gray.
A crowd formed outside the church, and there was no mistaking the atmosphere of tension as mourners said farewell to yet another young shooting victim in the city.
Gunfire broke out shortly after 1 a.m. on July 27 at the intersection of Revere Street and Newfield Avenue.
Police say the murder is still under investigation. No arrests have been made.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call them.
