Hundreds of people took part in the annual Stratton Faxon Half-Marathon today in Fairfield.
Sen. Richard Blumenthal counted down as the hundreds of runners took off for the 13.1-mile race at Jennings Beach.
It was a nice day for a run at the beach: the race was held under mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the 70s.
