A rest stop along I-95 in Milford is finally open for business after 16 months of renovations and a multimillion-dollar facelift. The site, located on the northbound side between exits 40 and 41, was among a number of service stations across the state in line for upgrades. Transportation officials say the rest of the modifications should take slightly longer than three years. The southbound Milford side is expected to open in early April. The DOT says its next project will be the northbound Darien service plaza.
