Drivers were in for a surprise Sunday as the I-95 reopened early after being closed for construction.

Drivers were in for a surprise Sunday as the I-95 reopened early after being closed for construction.
The highway wasn't slated to reopen until Monday morning, but traffic is now traveling on the north and southbound sides.
Officials say Route 1 and the on and off ramps at Exit 9 will still remain closed until 5 a.m. Monday.
The final stage of construction of the Route 1 bridge will conclude next Friday through Monday.
Commuters are advised to plan ahead to avoid the area when I-95 is shut down at Exit 9 once again.
