The Justice Department is questioning whether some sanctuary cities are responding honestly when asked if they follow the law on sharing the immigration status of residents.
According to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, the department is reviewing responses from 10 jurisdictions facing the loss of some federal grant money if they can't prove they cooperate with federal immigration authorities.
Towns in Connecticut are among the areas the attorney general is looking into.
