The Stamford police officer who was critically injured while chasing a suspect is now home.
Officer Troy Strauser was hurt when he fell about 20 feet from a bridge abutment onto I-95 in Norwalk nearly two weeks ago.
He was released from the hospital on Friday.
The Stamford Police Association is asking people to visit its website and make donations to the Strauser family in an effort to raise money to help pay for his medical bills.
