Interpol has issued a red alert for a man wanted as a suspect in the killing of a Yale graduate student.
U.S. marshals requested the international manhunt for Quixan Pan, a U.S. citizen born in Shanghai.
Pan is charged with murder and second-degree larceny in the death of Kevin Jiang in New Haven in February.
He now can be stopped when traveling abroad in any country with a U.S. treaty.
The alert is not an international warrant.
