Earlier this week state police raided six auto body shops owned by the same man searching for evidence connecting the businesses to chop shops.
State police Lt. Paul Vance say they are looking into whether someone was running a chop shop out of the businesses.
An employee told News 12 Connecticut that investigators are looking for stolen car parts, but they only took boxes and files from this business and did not seize anything that had to do with a car.
