Fire officials responded Monday to a three-car accident near the Danbury Airport, where they had to use the Jaws of Life to extricate two people from the wreckage.

The crash occurred on Route 7, and the injured parties were transported to the hospital for treatment.

The cause of the crash is currently unknown and under investigation.
