Officials in Fairfield are warning beachgoers about reports of stinging jellyfish at the town's beaches.
"Please be advised that there are reports of stinging jellyfish in the waters at Jennings and Penfield Beach, but could be possible at other beaches," the Fairfield Health Department wrote on Facebook.
Health officials say the presence of jellyfish can vary based on currents, wind, and tides.
They urge everyone to be cautious when swimming. 
All swimming areas in Fairfield are currently still open for access.
