Jennifer Lopez Netflix movie filming this month in New Jersey
The casting company is looking for kids to star in the film.

Jenny from the Block is starring in a new Netflix movie alongside actor Brett Goldstein, and the romantic comedy is set to begin filming next week in the Garden State.
Social media posts by Grant Wilfley Casting state that filmmakers are auditioning kids for a role in the film. The casting call seeks young Latina actors, ages 11 to 14 to portray "a younger version of a principal character." Filming is tentatively set for Feb. 12 in Kenilworth, according to the job listing on Backstage, a site that posts casting opportunities.
In order to audition for the role, parents or guardians are asked to email Grant Wilfley and provide basic information along with a photo of the young actor, their age, weight, height and current sizes. The role pays up to $216 for 8 hours of work. Information should be emailed to romance@gwcnyc.com.
This won't be the first time J-Lo has appeared in a movie with New Jersey as the backdrop. Last Spring, Lopez starred in a new film adaptation of"Kiss of the Spider Woman.”The actress portrayed the lead role of Aurora in the film. Goldstein, who co-wrote "OfficeRomance," is best known for his role as Roy Kent in the Apple TV series "Ted Lasso."
