Jericho Wholesale is partnering with Shell to raise money for breast cancer this month with their Power Up for Pink Aid.
Jericho Wholesale says 5 cents off of every V-Power refill at participating Shell gas stations will be donated to the organization.
Pink Aid works to provide financial aid and emotional support to underserved breast cancer patients.
A Shell gas station on Newfield Avenue in Stamford is taking part in the fundraiser.
Pink Aid says it hopes to raise about $75,000 to $100,000.
"Everybody involved in Pink Aid is really dedicated to giving back to that community, and it's a fabulous organization that provides support on so many levels," says Missy Barkin, co-head of grants at Pink Aid. "About 25% of breast cancer patients have some kind of, mostly, financial need."
Barkin says Pink Aid has raised over $11 million to support breast cancer patients in need since 2011.
