Jersey Proud: Manalapan Eagle Scout’s project honors local veterans

A new Eagle Scout project in Monmouth County is coming just in time for Veterans’ Day.
Landon Hartung is with Manalapan Boy Scouts. Thanks to him, local veterans are now being honored at the town's rec center. He created Banners for Heroes.
Over the last year, Hartung reached out to get names, pictures and donations to create the display. Twenty-nine veterans now have banners up in the parking lot near the rec center.
They were all unveiled on Thursday.
