A judge rules that a man from Torrington is competent to stand trial for the murder of his wife.
According to the Register Citizen, Daniel Gervais, 70, was initially found incompetent back in September, but a second opinion changed that this week.
Gervais is accused of killing his wife, Phyllis, in their Torrington home back in April.
Police say Gervais called 911 and said his wife had fallen sometime during the night.
