The woman who swindled almost $500,000 from parents and schools while pretending to be an autism therapist found herself behind bars Friday for allegedly failing to pay restitution.

Stacy Lore pretended to have a Ph.D. when all she really had was a GED.

She was supposed to repay about $34,000, but prosecutors say that over the past six years, she barely paid anything. They say some of the checks she wrote to victims were for as little as $2.

The judge ordered her jailed until the debt is repaid, but in court papers, Lore said she hasn't worked in three years. 

She offered her victims $9,000 in money from her parents and fiance.

Lore is due back in court in three weeks.
