(04/24/08) MILFORD - A judicial marshal has been accused of providing sweets to a 19-year-old female inmate in exchange for sexy acts.
Thirty-nine-year-old Manfred Vives of Ansonia, a marshal in the Milford Superior Court lockup, has been charged with fourth-degree sexual assault.
Vives is accused of grabbing the breast of a female inmate who flashed him a number of times in exchange for sweets.
According to court documents, the woman says she flirted with and flashed Vives and even kissed another female inmate at his request to get doughnuts and cookies.
Vives denies all accusations, suggesting that he's being targeted because he had expressed lockup safety concerns and court supervisors want him gone.
