Jurors continued to deliberate for a third day today in the death penalty phase of the trial of Joshua Komisarjevsky.
The jury must decide if Komisarjevsky, who was convicted for the murder of a Cheshire mother and her two daughters in 2007 during a home invasion, should receive the death penalty or life in prison for the murders.
Defense attorneys argue Komisarjevsky should not be put to death because he was sexually abused as a child and didn't get the proper psychological treatment.
The jury asked the judge today if they could begin deliberations an hour early tomorrow, if necessary.
Komisarjevsky's co-defendant, Steven Hayes, has already been sentenced to death for the murders.
