Two kayakers are safe this morning after finding themselves in big trouble on the water Tuesday.   

Fairfield fire officials say two men were tossed out of their kayaks by the rough conditions just off the coast of Bridgeport and Fairfield yesterday afternoon.

They were able to call 911 with a cellphone and hold on to a 'channel marker' until rescuers could get to them.
News 12 is told they were both wearing dry suits and life jackets.

One of the men was treated for exposure.
