Learning how to grow brussels sprouts or cleaning out chicken coups may not be normal weekend activities for most 10-year-old children, but that's what a group of 50 kids learned this morning at Ambler Farm in Wilton. The popular honorary farmer program teaches children about animals' basic needs and how to approach them. Children learn how to be farmers, laying composite, planting vegetables and making a few friends in the process.
