Lamont's chief of staff says staffer tests positive for COVID-19
Gov. Ned Lamont's Chief of Staff Paul Mounds announced Monday that a member of the governor's staff has tested positive for COVID-19.
He says that the staff member was in the office as recently as Dec. 23, but only interacted with Lamont while socially distanced and wearing a mask.
Mound says Lamont will not be self-quarantining.
“This is another sign that the virus continues to spread across our state, and we all must keep our guard up,” Mounds says.
