Residents in Fairfield are hoping that the Fairfield Community Theater reopens its doors soon, ever since the theater closed last fall.
The theater on Post Road used to be the go-to spot in town, but now a "For Lease" sign is all that remains.
The landlord of the theater would not comment as to the reason the previous tenant left but is hoping to lease the space as a new arts and entertainment venue.
