State lawmakers approved a bill Friday evening that would require job listings to include a salary range and benefits.

Gov. Ned Lamont is expected to sign the legislation.

Prior to the bill's passage, employees only had to reveal a salary if a potential employee asked or a person was offered a position.

New York and New Jersey already have similar laws.
