A Stamford state lawmaker once again is backing a plan to regulate drones.
State Rep. William Tong says the bill would criminalize reckless use of a drone.
Tong says an incident last year in which a Clinton teenager posted a video of a drone modified to carry and fire a handgun was a wake up call for lawmakers.
During the last General Assembly session, a measure that would have prohibited use of the unmanned radio-guided aircraft to control deadly weapons and explosives was passed by the state Senate, but died in the House.
