A group of residents and organizations is suing the town of Woodbridge over claims the town violated the state's Zoning Enabling and Fair Housing acts.
The suit says the town's zoning violates the state's Zoning Enabling and Fair Housing acts.
Woodbridge policies don't allow multifamily housing of three units or more in the vast majority of land - over 98% of it.
Erin Boggs, the executive director of a group involved with the suit, says the alleged zoning violations "disparately harms Black and Latino households and deepens economic and racial segregation in the area."
