The Bridgeport man accused of killing his parents and burying their bodies outside a home in Weston went before a judge Tuesday afternoon.
Kyle Navin is charged with killing Jeffrey and Jeanette Navin in the summer of 2015. An arrest warrant claims Navin planned the murders after learning he was being cut out of their will.
In court Tuesday, Navin's lawyers asked for more time to complete a mental health evaluation. He's due back in court Dec. 1.
Navin's girlfriend, Jennifer Valiante, is also facing charges.
