Greenwich officials have confirmed that legionella bacteria has been detected inside the cooling tower at Greenwich High School.
However, officials say the bacteria is not the same strain that is commonly associated with the dangerous legionnarie's disease.
They say the tower has been disinfected and students and staff are not at risk.
