Some families in Bridgeport are getting back on their feet after losing power during Saturday's lightning storm.
People living on Hancock Avenue say lightning struck a utility pole around 10:30 p.m.
They say the strike left them without power for about six hours. Some residents say they sought relief at local motels and hotels.
One resident who has multiple sclerosis and is on a heart monitor say she was scared and felt her health was in a more vulnerable state.
