A “pollen storm” has been moving across the northeast, and researchers say it's making allergy season harsher.
Experts say allergy seasons have intensified in recent years.
They say climate change is one of the main causes - as warmer temperatures extend the growing season for plants - causing a rise in the pollen count.
To help with allergy symptoms, doctors recommend taking over the counter medications, closing windows, and avoiding bringing in pollen from outside.
If symptoms persist, experts recommend seeing an allergist.
