Well, the city of Stanford held its 911 remembrance ceremony at Jackie Robinson Park of Fame. This morning, local police firefighters and politicians gathered to remember and thank those who served on that day. Let us be reminded of the tremendous sacrifice, heroism, and service of our first responders. So many of whom are here today who put their lives on the line every single day. The mayor said that although that day, 23 years ago was full of hate and terror, it was also filled with unity and strength.

Officials in Greenwich honor the victims of September 11th. During their remembrance ceremony, the ceremony took place at Cos Cob Park. 33 people with connections to the town lost their lives 23 years ago. First Selectman Fred Camillo says the event helps to preserve their memory. You look at the rear view mirror and it seems like it's fading in the distance. But for those that were there that day, for the loved ones of those that perished, it will never fade. And by having ceremonies such as this each year, we ensure that they will continue long after we're gone. We just hope that they feel the same thing we do. Ceremony was organized by volunteers including Wells Noonan, whose brother Robbie was in the North Tower and worked for Cantor Fitzgerald.

Then Norwalk gathered at the 911 memorial outside City Hall. Today, the ceremony honored all the victims through prayers and musical performances. The names of the 14 Norwalk residents who died in the attacks were read aloud on that day. And after America came together like never before. There was no race, there was no color, there was no ethnicity. We were all simply Americans standing together, helping each other praying with each other probably more so than any time since the attack on Pearl Harbor Norwalk ceremony also included bell ringing and the raising of the American flag.
