Some local groups are stepping forward following the death of Robin Williams.
Officials in California say the actor-comedian committed suicide by hanging himself.
Stamford resident Kerie Boshka says her first husband committed suicide 12 years ago.
She wrote a book called "If God cares so much, why do I still hurt?" to help others deal with the situation.
Meanwhile, the Center for Hope in Darien offers help to those left behind.
They host weekly support meeting for survivors.
