A reception for Ferguson Library's art exhibit Black Resilience: Love & Legacy was held over the weekend in Stamford.
The show features local artists and celebrates Black history, marking the obstacles African Americans have overcome. The curator says its message is to connect the past to the future.
“This is touching with what we’ve achieved and what we're looking forward to achieving and the love that we have for each other and the arts, and we're trying to intermingle that,” Jean Benoit said.
The Black Resilience: Love & Legacy exhibit will be on display through Friday.
