Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz, officials visit Norwalk vaccine clinic
Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz paid a visit to a vaccination clinic in Norwalk today.
Bysiewicz was joined by state Sen. Bob Duff, Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling and other local officials at the Family and Children's Agency to highlight the importance of receiving the COVID-19 vaccine and receiving a COVID-19 booster shot when eligible.
Family and Children's Agency advocates for thousands of people in the community.
The Human Service Organization has hired contact tracers and provided community health support.
Rob Cashell, the president, and CEO of Family and Children's Agency, says pop-up vaccine events are important for people in the community who might be on the fence about getting the shot, young or old.
