From a humble squeegee to a global cleaning empire, Connecticut’s Unger USA has been making a global difference for 60 years.
The company's roots trace back to a window cleaner named Henry Unger who, frustrated with the tools of his trade, left his native Germany and landed in Bridgeport to start his own business. His goal was simple: create better cleaning products.
Today, Unger boasts hundreds of global patents and a reputation for innovation. The company, which operates out of Stratford and Bridgeport, manufactures everything from squeegees to mops, all with an eye toward safety, efficiency and cleanliness.
