It’s almost summer, which means some of the biggest names in show business will once again take the stage in Bridgeport.

The Hartford Healthcare Ampitheater is only in its fifth year, but music experts say energy from the Fairfield County crowds has already struck a chord with artists, and it's what keeps them coming back for more.

“When you’re sitting in an audience here with 5,000 people and you’re all singing the same song," Koplik says. "It sounds great and feels great. I think that’s the magic of live concerts."

James Taylor will perform for the third straight year, and the venue plans to honor REO Speedwagon and Styx when they return for the fifth straight year.
