Bridgeport police say a man is facing charges after he tried to rob two off-duty officers, even though they told him who they were.
It happened early yesterday in front of Carmelina's Restaurant on Chapel Street.
Police say Ubaldo Diaz hit the detectives with a mop when they refused to give him anything.
