Norwalk police say a Bridgeport man is facing several charges for allegedly viciously biting his girlfriend during a fight.
Officers say Jamaal Gilliam, 30, bit his girlfriend on the nose yesterday afternoon after they fought over the rent.
Police say he bit her so hard, she needs reconstructive surgery on her face.
They say Gilliam left the apartment with the couple's 2-year-old child, but officers found him a short time later.
Police say Gilliam is on parole after having just served a two-year prison sentence for assault.
