Man accused of gunpoint robbery at Fairfield Subway

A man is accused of a gunpoint robbery inside a Subway restaurant in Fairfield, police say.

A man is accused of a gunpoint robbery inside a Subway restaurant in Fairfield, police say.
The incident happened Thursday inside the Subway on Post Road around 7:25 p.m.
The suspect took out a black-colored gun and removed cash from the register. 
He is described as a black man, last seen wearing a black-colored beanie hat, brown-colored jacket, and blue-colored jeans with sun glasses.
He ran out of the store and through the Dunkin' Donuts nearby.
Police used a K9 unit to track the suspect but were unsuccessful. 
Police say this is the second robbery in town in less than a week but they do not believe the incidents are connected.
