Milford police say a man from New Haven is facing charges for stealing scrap metal from someone's backyard shed.
They say they responded to the home on High Street and arrested Carnell Edwards, 69, yesterday morning.
Police say when they asked Edwards what he was doing, he said "taking scrap metal, it's what I do."
Edwards is charged with burglary, larceny and trespassing.
