A man from Hartford is facing several charges for allegedly attacking and raping his ex-girlfriend in Stamford.
Police say Yimi Silvestri, 29, went to the woman's home Saturday night, beat her up and raped her several times.
They say Silvestri also blocked the victim from calling 911 for hours.
Police say other people, including children, were home at the time.
Silvestri's bond is set at $500,000.
