An Ohio man accused in the murder of a Bethel woman was charged in Bridgeport City Court on Monday.

Police say 26-year-old Brandon Roberts was charged with shooting 25-year-old Emily Todd at the Bridgeport waterfront on Dec. 9.

Investigators say Roberts met Todd online and lured her to the Seaview Avenue dock where he shot her in the back of the head.

Roberts was captured in Ohio and extradited back to Connecticut.

Police say Roberts also confessed to shooting another woman in Bridgeport last year, but she survived.
